Leanne is not new to the Edgerton community. Leanne was shaped by it: born and raised in the city, graduated from Edgerton High School, descended from area tobacco farming pioneer Pomeroy Family.
She carries a deep sense of belonging to and responsibility for Edgerton. It’s not just where Leanne lives. It’s part of who she is. You can see that in the way Leanne invests her time.
As vice president of the Edgerton Area Chamber of Commerce, Leanne works to strengthen the heartbeat of the local economy, supporting businesses and relationships that keep the community thriving. During the work day, you can find her stepping into classrooms as a substitute teacher in both Edgerton and Janesville. On Sundays, Leanne is at Central Lutheran Church, not just attending, but teaching Sunday School and pouring into the next generation.
As a hostess for Girls Night Out Rock County, she leads the Edgerton based networking events benefitting charities including Edgerton Community Outreach and Edgerton Gifts for Kids.
